Josh Clark is a disciple, husband, father, and pastor. He is married to Olivia and the father to James, Leland, and Opal. With over a decade of diverse church and ministry experience, he’s had the privilege guiding individuals to foster meaningful relationships and to deepen their spiritual journey with Christ.
The Lord has grown and equipped Josh to serve in ministry thru studying and graduating from North Greenville University, SC with a B.A. in Christian Studies and a Music Minor and earning his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
In addition to serving in vocational church ministry, most recently at First Baptist Church Leland, NC as Student & Family Ministries Pastor, he has sought to reach the next generation thru partnering with Fellowship of Christian Athletes and local middle and high schools, engaging with students and faculty, and leading team huddles and Bible studies. Also, he has previously served to equip and edify other believers in the local church and college campus in Biblical teaching, worship leading, and counseling.
Before serving at FBC Leland, he worked in various industry fields such as Procurement business, substitute teaching, assembly line, construction, retail, hospitality service, and personal fitness; giving him the opportunity to connect with various types of people and worldviews and engage them with the Gospel.
In his leisure time, he seeks to nurture a healthy body and clear mind through exercising and finds joy in being surrounded by loved ones for an enriching and balanced life. A reader, writer, and artisan, he pursues personal growth through literature, expresses creativity in woodworking, and delights in being outdoors, exploring and finding inspiration in all of God’s creation.
